Year 10 students are currently involved in streetwise personal safety sessions once a week. Streetwise sessions cover a wide range of topics, from street awareness and road safety, to learning about what constitutes a 'good stranger', to self defence and giving first aid. The sessions work on building blocks, training young people to become street wise and see a dangerous situation before it escalates. This weeks session involved students practising giving CPR and using a defibrillator.
