As we draw to the end of another half term, we would like to say a huge Orchard Centre ‘Thank You’ to all of our learners and their families for their support throughout what has been another challenging period.
Your resilience to lots of changes has been fantastic. Our staff have worked hard to ensure that those of you working from home have had access to engaging ‘Remote Learning’ and challenging ‘work packs’ to make sure that your learning continues even when not in centre. For those learners in centre, you have continued to make progress in strange and testing circumstances, which is a credit to you.
Of course, as we all know, we cannot yet fully confirm when the Orchard Centre will re-open to all of our young people. We await to see if the Government target for opening of March 8th is confirmed over the coming weeks.
All that remains to be said is have a restful and healthy half term. Updated work packs are on the way and for those of you accessing Teams, your lessons will recommence on Monday 22nd of February.
